He is an affiliate member of the World Safety Organization (WSO), in consultative status, category II, with the UNESCO and a member of the American Society for Industrial Security International (ASIS). The former National Director-Treasurer of PADPAO (Philippine Association of Detective and Protective Agency Operators Inc.), Director of PADPAO R7 Private Security Academy, Inc., and Member of the Security Multi-Purpose Cooperative College. He is a Life Sustaining Member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and appointed as a advisory member of the International Security Management and Crime Prevention Institute (ISMCPI), of Australia and member of International CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) Association (ICA) for Asia Pacific Chapter member. Major Antonio Maniwang is a reserve officer of the Armed Forces of the Philippines assigned with the Medical Administrative Corps (MAC) and a Lifetime Member of the Reserve Officers Legion of the Philippines.
